This policy covers the vittnor.com website. Using Vittnor itself is covered by the Vittnor Privacy Policy.

Who is responsible

Shards Cybersecurity s.r.o., Kopčianska 3756/10, 851 01 Bratislava, Slovak Republic, IČO 55151531, is the controller. Write to privacy@shardscybersecurity.io about anything in this policy.

What we process, and why

When you visit. Cloudflare delivers this website and protects it against attacks. To do that, it processes your IP address and the details of each request, such as the page you asked for and your browser. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

Page counts. We count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare leaves its script out of pages served from its data centres in the EU, the EEA, Switzerland and the UK, which is where visits from those countries normally land. For other visitors it sets no cookies, stores nothing in the browser and does no fingerprinting; Cloudflare receives the IP address with each page view and discards it at its edge without storing it, and we see only counts by page, referring site, country, browser and device, and page load times. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are read and how fast they load (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

When you write to us. If you email us, we process your email address, your name and what you write, so that we can reply. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you, or the steps you ask us to take before a contract (Article 6(1)(f) and (b)). We keep these messages for up to 24 months.

When you book a call. Our booking link opens a Microsoft Bookings page. Microsoft processes what you enter there (your name, your email and the time you pick) on our behalf.

This website has no forms and no accounts, and it sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

Security cookie. The website sets no cookies of its own. If Cloudflare's security check challenges a visitor, Cloudflare sets one cookie, cf_clearance, which records that the challenge was passed so it isn't shown again. It is strictly necessary and used only for that.

Who receives your data

  • Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) delivers and protects the website.
  • Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited hosts our email and our booking page.

Cloudflare's network is global, so your requests can be handled outside the EU. Where that happens, we rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, under which Cloudflare, Inc. and Microsoft Corporation are certified, and on the standard contractual clauses in their data processing terms.

We don't sell your data or share it for advertising.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to correct or erase it, to take a copy of it, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent where we rely on consent. Write to privacy@shardscybersecurity.io. You can also complain to the Slovak Office for Personal Data Protection (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR).
